Civil Rights in Immigrant Detention Centers in New Mexico

The New Mexico Advisory Committee seeks to examine the implications of civil rights in immigrant detention centers in the state. Through this fact-finding exercise, the Committee will thoroughly investigate the issue and provide the Commission with a report that includes findings and recommendations which will be forwarded to appropriate federal, state, and tribal entities. The Committee intends to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations accordingly.
