Racial Disparities in Maternal Mortality and Morbidity

The Texas Advisory Committee (Committee) to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights seeks an examination of disparities within maternal mortality and morbidity rates in the state and how to improve preventable deaths and morbidities in the field of maternal care. The Committee intends to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations accordingly.
