The New Orleans Human Relations Commission is a quasi-law enforcement agency authorized by the city under Chapter 40C of the city code to investigate complaints of illegal discriminatory practices in employment, housing, public accommodations, and quasi-private clubs, to include the adjudication process. The mission is to eliminate discrimination within the city.
