Press Conference on the Civil Rights Implications of Algorithms in Connecticut

On April 25, 2023, the Connecticut Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, will hold a press conference to release its report on the civil rights implications of the state using algorithms and artificial intelligence for decision-making. Chair David McGuire will discuss the Committee's findings and recommendations. The press conference will include remarks by Senator and Deputy Majority Leader James Maroney and Deputy Republican Leader David Rutigliano, who also serves as the House Ranking Member of the General Law Committee.
