Nebraska Advisory Committee Web Briefing for Study on Policy and Governance Perspectives Regarding the Effects of the Pandemic on K-12 Education - Panel V

The Nebraska Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will be hosting a web briefing to hear policy and governance perspectives regarding the civil rights effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on K-12 education, with a particular focus on the digital divide and mental health among youth in the state. This panel will focus on how educational leadership and other policy and governance professionals managed and continue to navigate these challenges. The Committee intends to provide the Commission with their findings and recommendations on these topics. The briefing will take place:

Members of the public will be invited to speak during an open comment period towards the end of the panel. Members of the public are encouraged to share their experiences and perspectives of how the pandemic impacted education in the state.
