Voting Rights in Florida Following Recent Amendments to the Election Code

The Florida Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights submits this report regarding recent changes to Florida’s election code and related civil rights impacts. Specifically, the Committee sought to examine the extent to which recent changes to the state election code may have a disproportionate and/or discriminatory impact on voting rights based on race, color, or national origin.
